50F / 50L / 60F axial fans
A very low noise, high efficiency fan for air-cooled condensers and cooling towers. It is up to 10 dB(A) quieter than standard fiberglass blades and keeps its efficiency extremely high.

How it works
The largest monolithic pultruded blade
The 60F and 50F profiles were introduced to give air-cooled condensers and cooling towers a very quiet fan without giving up efficiency. They are the largest monolithic pultruded blade Cofimco has ever produced.
Compared with standard molded blades, this construction is far more resistant to the fatigue loads and failures often seen around the blade shaft, thanks to reinforcement configurations taken from wind turbine blades.
Hub and installation
- AX hub made of one steel disc with a connection flange, for easy fitting on the drive shaft
- Blades fixed with extruded aluminum pillow blocks
- Gap ring regulator adjusts the fan diameter by 2 inches, to cut tip clearance for more performance or to make up for an imperfect fan ring

Since 1999 Cofimco has supplied more than 3,000 fans with 60F and 50F profiles, on jobsites and in applications all around the world. The 50L keeps the same shape and characteristics as the 50F but is made of extruded aluminum, so it can meet high temperature requirements.
