FILMTECH · FILMTECH Free Flow™ grid fill series
Trickle fill with an open-grid design for cooling and demanding water applications: contaminated water, high mechanical loads and demanding mass transfer conditions.

How it works
Water runs down the splash-grid structure and forms thin films on it. These films give the air an effective surface to meet the water in counter-flow cooling, while the open grid leaves room for the air to move through.
FNC 20, FNVC 20 and FVC 20 are described for permanent installations and weather-protected on-site use. FVC 25 is aimed at water-film formation and droplet separation in cooling, agricultural and exhaust-air applications.

Key features
An open-grid design built for contaminated water, high mechanical loads and demanding mass transfer.
FNC 20 and FNVC 20 are built to carry high mechanical loads.
FNC 20, FNVC 20 and FVC 20 are made without solvents.
Free volume above 97% on FNC 20, FNVC 20 and FVC 20 leaves plenty of room for air to flow.
FNVC 20 combines diagonal and vertical geometries. FVC 20 is a robust vertical grid.
FVC 25 is made for forming water films and separating droplets.
Module dimensions, surface area, material grade, temperature limit, allowable suspended solids and fire test certificates depend on the model and your project. Ask our engineers and we will confirm them for you.
Share your water quality, loads and tower details and we will recommend the right model.
