How it works
A hub you can fine-tune
The G series is an adjustable pitch fan made in diameters up to 40 ft (12.192 m) and five blade profiles. The blades, in extruded aluminum or pultruded FRP, are connected to the hub through a high-quality steel shaft.
The G hub is made of two steel discs fixed to the top and bottom of the hub boss, with the aluminum pillow blocks that hold the blades sandwiched between them. A connection flange can be supplied on request to make the largest fans easier to install.
Why the diameter adjustment matters
- Reduce the tip clearance to increase fan performance
- Or increase it to make up for a fan cylinder ring that is not perfectly round
- Adjustment of 2 inches either way, built into the hub
